ALBANY – Jeffrey L. Edwards, age 56, Albany, died Tuesday February 2, 2016, while at home with his wife.  Born in Muncie on May 17, 1959, he grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Delta High School (1977) and Ivy Tech where he received a degree in computer programming.  Jeff worked as a computer analyst for Ball State University before retiring in 2010 after twenty years of employment.  He was a member of Eden Church of Christ where he took part in the choir.  He enjoyed collecting model airplanes and was a member of The Muncie Rifle & Pistol Club.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Tamara Edwards; his brother: Kenneth L. "Sonny" Edwards, Dunkirk; a niece: Krista Hayes Hyer, Denver, CO; two nephews: Mark Edwards, Albany, Doug Edwards, Yorktown, and his dog: Yeager.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth A. & Quantenia L. (Burke) Edwards; a sister: Nancy K. Hyer, and a sister-in-law: Kathy Edwards.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Eden Church, Muncie.  Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery, Albany.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.
