Former Albany resident Jeffery A. Henry, 59, Muncie, died Sunday February 4, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a diagnosis of cancer six years ago.  Born in Portland on November 7, 1964, he grew up in Portland and was a 1983 graduate of Jay County High School.  Jeff drove for FedEx for the past ten years and prior to that had worked at Franklin Electric in Bluffton.  He served in the National Guard and was affiliated with Union Chapel Ministries and enjoyed gaming, boating, fishing, camping, the Indianapolis Colts, socializing, and hanging out with friends.

Survivors include his wife: Sheryl Gray, Muncie; son: Hunter Henry, Muncie; mother: Shirley Long (husband: Richard), Dunkirk; brothers: Doug Henry, Dunkirk, and Gary Long (wife: Jody), Hartford City; sister: Paula Duncan, Hartford City; nieces & nephews: Jenny, April (husband: Kevin), Leanna, Allyson, Andrew, Andrea, Nathaniel, Hannah, and Destiny; several cousins, and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his father: Donald L. Henry and a brother: Kevin Petschke.

Visiting hours are Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will follow.
