ALBANY – Janice "Jan" (Miller) Cadieux, age 55, Albany, died Monday June 20, 2011, at Ball Memorial Hospital. Born in Muncie on April 8, 1956, she was in the last graduating class of Albany High School in 1974 before its closure. In earlier years she belonged to Jobs Daughters and Order of The Eastern Star Teresa Chapter 237, Albany. She was employed at Stoneridge Electronics, Portland, until the time of her illness. Jan was a former coordinator of Domestic Violence Shelter and was a rape crisis volunteer while living in Florida.

Jan is survived by her son, Cody Cadieux (fiancé: Paige Holler), Albany, and gave birth to Micco Losh (husband: Chad), Albany; also surviving are her parents: Dewey & Carolyn Miller, Albany; a brother: Dewey W. Miller, Jr. (wife: Sue), Oakfield, NY; 3 grandchildren: Eden Rose Losh, Drake Manning Losh, and Mason Blair Cadieux; nieces, nephews, and her beloved cat: Lollipop.

She is preceded in death by her grandson: Randall E. Losh, and maternal & paternal grandparents.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday June 23, 2011, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
