Gregory D. (Greg) Melton, age 61, Muncie, died Monday morning following a year-long illness.  Greg was born in Anderson on February 6, 1964; he grew up near DeSoto and was a 1982 graduate of Delta High School.  He worked in Shipping & Receiving at Wesco Distribution in Greenfield for almost 10 years.  Greg loved music, attending concerts, and going backstage.  He was a New England Patriots fan and enjoyed watching sports & NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his mother, Louise Brewer, Albany; brother: David Melton (wife: Heather), Eaton, and nephews: Zachary David Melton, Logan Michael Melton, and Charles William Melton (wife: Sarah).

His father: Billy E. Melton and step-father: Phil Brewer are deceased.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
