Former Albany resident Gloria E. "Glo" Conningham, age 75, Muncie, died Friday September 10, 2021 at The Waters of Muncie following an unexpected brief illness.  Born in Delaware County May 15, 1946, she graduated from Harrison Twp. High School in 1964 and was a graduate of Ball State University and Chicago Bible College.  Gloria taught elementary and junior high school in Buffalo, IN and Akron, OH for around 4 years and worked as a cook for Ball Memorial Hospital 20 years before retiring.  She was a member of Red Hat Club and Albany Christian Church where she participated in women's group.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and was a former member of the local home economics club.

Gloria is survived by her sister, Janell E. Peterson (husband: Gene), Eaton.  Her parents, Derryll V. and Rose E. (Stewart) Sites, are deceased.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are being handled by Meacham Funeral Service.
