REDKEY – George M. Stephen, age 86, Redkey, died Sunday afternoon at Albany Health Care & Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.  Born in Redkey on Nov. 10, 1929, he lived most of his life there.  He worked for Norfolk & Southern railroad for 37 years before retiring.

George is survived by his daughters, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He has brothers & sisters that are deceased as well as his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery, Redkey.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
