MUNCIE – Gail M. Selvey, Muncie, passed away at her residence on October 26, 2012.  She was born on March 6, 1958 to Virgil L. and Mary E. Selvey.  She attended DeSoto Elementary and graduated from Delta High School with the class of 1976.  She was retired from General Motors as a journeymen electrician.   She was an artist of oil paintings for many years, with incredible talent!  She also taught paint class to others; many of her paintings were placed in galleries for sale.  She loved the water and enjoyed boating immensely, especially on Dale Hollow Lake.  She was always on the lookout for antiques and had an ability to turn them into unique arrangements.  She also enjoyed a good golf game now and then with her friends.  She supported the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

She is survived by a brother, Greg Selvey and good friend Joy Addington.  She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Mary Selvey.

A Celebration of Gail's Life will be held on November 17, 2012 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Amvets Post 12 in Royerton.
