ALBANY – Francis Pence, age 81, Albany, died Wednesday night at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  Born in Muncie on October 3, 1935, she grew up in Albany and attended school in DeSoto.  Francis was a homemaker and attended White Chapel Church over the years.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years: Eugene Pence; two sons: Ronald Pence (wife: Nena), Muncie, and Gerry Pence, Albany; two daughters: Cheryl Reed, Albany, and Pam Copely (husband: Gary), Albany; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father: Arthur Dunsmore; her mother: Bonnie (Grove) Warlock; a son and daughter-in-law: Jerry & Sherry Pence, and two brothers: Sonny Rose and Norman Youngblood.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
