Obituary

ALBANY – Frances Eleanor Reynard, age 82, died Friday afternoon at Elmcroft of Muncie with her family by her side following an extended illness. Born in Williamsburg, IN on September 30, 1928, she moved to Albany at a young age and was a resident there for most of her life. She attended Albany High School, was a homemaker, and lived & worked on the farm near DeSoto with her husband, Don. Over the years she had interest in china painting, ceramics, drawing, crocheting, and collecting porcelain dolls.

Survivors include a son & daughter: Terry Reynard (wife: Linda), Albany, and Madeline Stage, Albany; 4 grandchildren: Jason Breedlove (wife: Robin), Albany, Meranda Breedlove, Muncie, Kimberly Reynard, Albany, and Donald Reynard, Albany; 2 great-grandchildren: Anthony Breedlove and Jenna Breedlove; also surviving are several nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Reynard, who died in 1978; her parents, a brother and sister, and a great-grandson: Jay Alan Breedlove.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday April 5, 2011, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Black Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be sent to the Albany Volunteer Fire Department or Cancer Services of East Central Indiana (Little Red Door).
