Esther Martin, 98, Albany, died Saturday February 12, 2022 at IU Health Methodist Hospital.  Born in Albany June 24, 1923, she graduated from Albany High School in 1941.  She worked at Kerr Glass (now Ardagh), Dunkirk, for 17 years before retiring.  Esther was a member of Delta Theta Tau, Union Chapel Ministries, and Extension Homemaker Club.  She attended Westminster Presbyterian Church after moving to Muncie in 2014.

Survivors include 4 grandchildren: Shad Weaver (wife: Stephanie), Colin Weaver (wife: Wallace), Adam McCollum (husband: Michael Monroe), and Rhiannon McCollum; several great-grandchildren and a large, extended family; a step-daughter: Kay Caldwell (husband: Russell), Redkey.

She outlived three husbands: Maurice "Bud" Weaver, Rex Roberts, and Donald E. Martin; others deceased include a son: Douglas M. Weaver; daughter: Kathy McCollum; parents: Charles R. & Alta V. (Champ) Marks; brothers: Darrell Marks and Charles Marks; sisters: T. Violet Coulter, Mary Martin, and Doris Lang.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
