YORKTOWN – Emilee D. Lucas, age 64, Yorktown, died Saturday morning at home. Born in St. Louis, MO, she graduated from DeSoto High School in 1963 and lived near Albany from 1971-1986. She operated a home day care business for 12 years. Emilee was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Muncie and enjoyed crafts and antiques.

Survivors include her sons: Jeff Lucas, Yorktown, and Matt Lucas (wife: Kathleen Painchaud), Powell, OH; a sister: Mary Lou Gibbs, Selma; a brother: Emmett Glover, Argos; 2 grandchildren: Sam Lucas and Thomas Lucas, and several nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lucas; her parents, Emmett & Leona Glover, and a sister: Shirley Taylor.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
