Dulce Yolette Phillips, age 6, of Monterey, Tennessee, went to be with Jesus on Friday, November 15, 2013, at East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville.  She was born on October 14, 2007, in Cookeville, Tennessee, to Brooke Phillips of Monterey.  In addition to her mother she is survived by her father, Sitlahuer Vazquez of Mexico; great grandmother: Paula McCowan of Monterey, TN; great grandfather: Richard Glenn Phillips of Dunkirk; grandmother: Rachael McCowan (partner: Kevin Jones) of Celina, OH; grandfather: Stephen Phillips (and Vanessa) of Indianapolis, and grandmother: Esther Vazquez of Mexico.

In Tennessee, the family will receive friends at Monterey Worship Center on Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 3-5 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Dr. Ronnie Pierce officiating.

A local funeral ceremony will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Kingsley Full Gospel Church, 4030 S. 700 E., Dunkirk, with Pastor Stuart Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery, Redkey.  Visiting hours will be held 2 hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
