Doris L. Reynolds, Albany, IN was born on October 21, 1931 to Raymond & Gertrude Mattingly in Louisville, Kentucky and entered into heaven on June 15, 2024 at the age of 92.  Her family moved to Redkey, IN when she was 16 and after marrying she raised a family in Albany with her husband, O.J. Reynolds.

She is survived by her children: Teresa (Mitchell) Rees, Hartford City; Dan (Jeri) Reynolds, Albany; Sheila Hughes and Angela Snyder (husband: Greg), Muncie, IN; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and 2 sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, O.J. Reynolds in 2015 and her son, Steve Reynolds, in 2023.  Also preceding her in death: her parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

She was a wonderful mother who was a devoted Christian.  She loved life and was a joyful, kind and caring person who lived by her favorite scripture – Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…".  The person that she was will truly be missed by her family but we know that we will see her again in God's glorious kingdom.

A private celebration of life will be held at Meacham Funeral Service.
