Diana Young, age 74, Anderson, died Saturday May 7, 2022 at Community Hospital, Anderson, following a brief illness.  Born November 28, 1947, she grew up in Dunkirk and attended Dunkirk High School.  She lived in Albany for several years before moving to Anderson in 1987.  Diana was a secretary for F.C. Tucker in Anderson for 15 years before retiring.  Writing was her passion and she became a published author; she also enjoyed working outdoors with flowers, doing crafts, making wreaths, and watching/feeding the birds and squirrels.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Young, Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her son, Scott Young, who died in March of this year; also deceased is her father: Otto Grayson, mother: Doris Mae (Bragg) Wright, and sister: Phyllis Russell.
