Deborah Sue (Dalton) Alexander, age 69, Albany, died Friday January 26, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  Born in Muncie on April 5, 1954, she grew up near Selma and was a 1972 graduate of Wapahani High School.  Debbie worked as a deli/bakery manager for Marsh Supermarkets in Muncie for 28 years.  She lived in Eaton before moving to Albany several years ago.

Debbie loved spending time with her family and attending any event involving her children or grandchildren.  She enjoyed being outdoors, reading, trips to Florida, and in earlier years – bowling.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Roger Dale Alexander; sons: Matt Alexander (Kasey Carman), Albany, and Zachary Alexander (wife: Stephanie), Hartford City; daughters: Mary Kristine Musick (husband: David), Albany, and Bobbi Turner (husband: Shannon), Springport; brother: Mike Dalton (wife: Valerie), Muncie; sister: Pam Clevenger (husband: Jerry), DeSoto; step-brother and sisters: Dewayne, Connie, and Janelle, FL; grandchildren: Makinsey, Christopher, Abigail, Bryce, Andrew, Jaron, Trenton, Chloe, Ryder, Charlie, Layne, Ella, Laylah, and Izayah; 1 great-grandchild: Gunner; several nieces & nephews, and a special friend: Amber Alexander, Portland.

She is preceded in death by her father: Ray Dewey Dalton; mother: Mary Jean Jeffers (and her husband: Harland), and in-laws: Jacquelyn & Bobby Alexander.

Services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Meacham Funeral Service.

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
