MUNCIE – Charles H. "Buddy" Bicknell, Sr., age 60, Muncie, died Thursday February 18, 2010, at home. Born in Muncie on February 14, 1950, his parents were William R. & Tresa Bicknell. A lifelong resident of Muncie, Buddy attended school and church there and worked for several years at Liberty Bowl until 2001. He was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club and enjoyed bowling and working puzzles.

Survivors include his son: Charles H. Bicknell, Jr., Muncie; 2 brothers: Bob Bicknell (wife: Colleen), Dunkirk, and Butch Bicknell (wife: Carolyn), Shideler; a sister: Blanch Holt (husband: Charles), Gaston; 4 granddaughters, 7 nephews, and 5 nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter who died in infancy, and a brother: William D. Bicknell.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2010, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Hill Crest Cemetery, Redkey.

Visiting hours will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
