Catharine "Kay" Ann Dull, age 87, passed away peacefully in Tulsa, OK on March 6, 2025. Kay was born in Bluffton, IN on December 4, 1937 to her parents Earl and Mary Lounsbury. She and her family later moved to Dunkirk, IN where she graduated high school in May of 1955. She married Robert "Bob" Gordon Dull shortly after on June 26, 1955. The couple eventually moved to San Antonio, TX and started their young family.

Kay pursued secretarial studies and worked for several years at a local hospital in San Antonio before the family moved once again, this time settling in Carmel, IN. There, she found her passion working in the radiology department at St. Vincent Hospital. She remained a dedicated employee for over 30 years until retirement. Kay was deeply proud of her career and for decades, she recounted treasured memories from her time spent working at St. Vincent.

A longtime member of the Carmel Methodist Church, Kay was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards, particularly Euchre, with friends, family, and colleagues. She also loved experimenting with new recipes, hosting gatherings, and researching her family's genealogy. Above all, Kay treasured spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with those she loved. After retiring, she and Bob purchased a lake house in Eaton, OH, which became a cherished gathering place for family and friends from near and far.

Kay's gentle spirit, kindness, and humility touched everyone she encountered. Her legacy of love, selflessness, and devotion to her family and community will always be remembered.

Kay is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Thomas Lounsbury; her parents, Earl and Mary (Hoy) Lounsbury; her husband, Robert Gordon Dull; and her sister, Marilyn J. (Lounsbury) Zearbaugh. She is survived by her sons, Scott Dull (wife: Amy) and Gregory Dull (wife: Lisa); her grandchildren, Erin Dull; Tristen Dull; Catherine (husband: Malik) Meziane; Logan Dull; Shelby Peck; and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2024 at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Saturday from 12 until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
