ALBANY – Carolyn S. Miller, 79, Albany, died Sunday December 31, 2017 at home following an extended illness. Born in Muncie on January 18, 1938, she attended Royerton High School and worked at Coca-Cola, Indiana Glass, and Warner Gear. She was a homemaker and former Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Albany. She also assisted with Boy Scout Troop 37 and belonged to Order of The Eastern Star Teresa Chapter 237.
Survivors include a son: Dewey W. Miller, Jr. (wife: Sue), Ft. Wayne; a daughter: Micco R. Losh (husband: Chad), Albany; four grandchildren: David, Cody, Eden, and Drake; six great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law: Barbara F. Evans (husband: Jim), Muncie.
She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years: Dewey W. Miller, Sr.; a daughter: Janice "Jan" Cadieux, a grandson: Randall Ericson Losh, and her parents: Chuck & Helen (Pippin) Main.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Meacham Funeral Service. Private burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
