ALBANY – Bruno R. Sigre, age 65, Albany, died Saturday August 4th, 2012, in his home. He was born and raised in Bordeaux, France on April 26, 1947 and came to the states at the age of 21. He came to the country as a chef and continued his career around the Cincinnati, Ohio area at the famous Maisonette Restaurant and in Muncie, Indiana at such locations as Elmcroft Assisted Living.
He is survived by two daughters: Dominique Sigre and Stephanie Sigre Powers, and a step-daughter: Kimberly Young Jacobs. He had one grandchild: Caden Powers, and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 4 siblings: Dominique Sigre, Muriel Lefriant, Sylvian Sigre, and Veronique Sigre.
Bruno was born from parents Monique and Pierre Bocquett (both deceased).
Bruno was a great man who greatly enjoyed spending time with his daughters, all of his grand and great-grandchildren and best friend Jerry Jacobs Sr. He is a father and a friend who will be greatly missed.
At the request of the deceased cremation will follow with no funeral service.
