Betty Miller, age 84, Muncie, died unexpectedly on Thursday October 23, 2025 at home.  Born in Peru, Indiana on November 15, 1940, she grew up in Akron, Indiana, graduated from Akron High School, and went to cosmetology school.  Over the years Betty lived in Ft. Wayne, Ossian, and Bluffton; after her husband's retirement she lived in Sevierville, TN for fourteen years before moving to Delaware County.  She was a homemaker and while living in Bluffton she worked on the line at Estey Piano Factory and at Kitco as a parts inspector.

Betty enjoyed doing word search puzzles and was an avid reader.  In earlier years she, along with her husband, showed bulldogs.

Survivors include her daughter, Billie Newsome (husband: Dennis), Dunkirk, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William A. Miller, who died in 2024; a daughter: Debbie Logan, and parents: Orval Dawald and Ruby Winebrenner.

Private services will be held at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dunkirk.
