Obituary

Betty Ann Foster, 92, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2026 at Morrison Woods in Muncie, IN. She was born on February 18, 1934 in Muncie, IN to Roy R. Hill and Tommie K. Hill.

Betty Ann went to Muncie Central and was a proud Bearcat. She attended Riverside Church as a child and then was a member at Mt. Olive Church and Gaston Main Street Church later in life. She worked for Martin Marietta in Orlando, FL for over 20 years, making parts for missiles. She was born a single child but felt like her family was very large because of the lifelong friends that joined her. She enjoyed listening to Patsy Cline and children singing at church. Betty Ann was the world’s best at making fried potatoes and sugar cream pie. She always made plenty and just enjoyed that time with her family.

Betty Ann is survived by her daughter, Kathy Taylor (Tim), two sons; Mike (Jerri) Rhonemus, Jamie Whittaker, two grandchildren; Kelly Woods, Jennifer Brunner (Josh), four grandchildren; Jaden, Leilani, Jack, Jace, Bonus daughter, Bonnie Besser and special friends; Retta and Phyllis.

Preceded in death by her parents; Roy and “Meme” Tommie Hill and Florence Carpenter, brother Roy Jr., and husband Jim Foster.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at Meacham Funeral Services on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather to share and remember Betty Ann on Wednesday from 10 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Morrison Woods and Southern Care Hospice for the caring and kindness they gave to Betty Ann.
