Obituary
PORTLAND – Bettie J. Myers, age 89, rural Portland, died Monday evening at home. Born in Portland, IN on May 18, 1924, she was a lifelong Jay Co. resident. Bettie worked for Jay Products at one time and seasonally at Naas Foods in Geneva.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Brenda D. Clubs, Portland, and Tracy L. Bishir, Milwaukee, WI; 7 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Garth L. Myers; her parents, and a daughter: Judie L. Deforest.
There will be no viewing hours or funeral ceremony. Cremation was chosen.
