MUNCIE – Angi McElfresh, age 46, Muncie, died unexpectedly on Thursday July 13, 2017 at home.  Born in New Castle on July 24, 1970, she was a Muncie resident for most of her life.  She graduated from Chrysler High School in 1987, received a nursing degree from Ball State University, and a business administration degree from Baker College.  Angi was a registered nurse for several years.  She worked for Anthem and was the owner of I.O.S. Business for the past six years.  She was a former Ball State Alumni board member and enjoyed reading, fishing, boating, the grandkids, and her dog Hank.

Survivors include her husband, Troy S. McElfresh; her mother: Sharon Johnson; two daughters: Kristin Freehill (husband: T.J.), and Kylie Reeves; three sons: Thor McElfresh (wife: Amanda), Tyeson McElfresh, and Travin McElfresh; her father: Mike Johnson (wife: Laura), and three grandchildren: Elizabeth McElfresh, Kellie McElfresh, and Kaysen Freehill.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Brooklyn Rinehart.

Services will be 6 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will follow.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 3 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
