Steven D. Dahlstrom

Steven D. Dahlstrom, age 70, Albany, died Thursday April 19, 2018 at IU Health Jay Hospital, Portland, following an illness.  Born in Muncie on August 16, 1947, he lived in Albany and was a 1967 graduate of Albany High School.  He worked at Oelsa Corp. in Elwood for twenty-three years before retiring in 2015.  Steve enjoyed mushroom hunting, camping, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Debra L. Dahlstrom; two sons: Michael Dahlstrom, Winchester, and Troy Dahlstrom (wife: Elizabeth), Decatur; two daughters: Amanda Reidenbach, Portland, and Donna Valentine (husband: Madison), Portland; ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Harry C. & Verna (Derry) Dahlstrom, and three sisters: Peg Smith, Ginger Smith, and Billie Hobson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
