Billy P. Miller

Billy P. Miller, age 79, Albany, died Sunday December 23, 2018 at home following an extended illness.  He was born in Vines Ridge, TN on Jan. 8, 1939 and lived in Jay County before moving to Delaware County.  Billy was an electrician at Westinghouse, Muncie, and Indiana Glass Co. in Dunkirk before retiring in 2001 and worked as a carpet installer for several years.  He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Dunkirk, National Rifle Association (NRA), and Crown City Cruisers.  He liked old cars, guns, and was a skilled worker.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-four years, Imagene Miller; a daughter: Marla Kay Miller, Palm Bay, FL; three sons: Jeffrey Scott Miller (wife: Marla Sue), Greenville, OH, Michael Wayne Webb, LaFollette, TN, and Charles Travis Webb (wife: Dawn), Indianapolis; siblings: Justine McDonald (husband: Bruce), Monterey, TN, Clyde Miller (wife: Pamela), Monterey, TN, Howard Miller (wife: Judy), Rickman, TN, Fred Miller (wife: Freda), Vines Ridge, TN, Twila Wilson (husband: Larry), Crawford, TN, Bruce Miller (wife: Dianne), Monterey, TN, and Judy Lowe, Crawford, TN; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents: Cordell & Ruby Miller; three brothers: Michael Miller, Beecher Miller, Raymond Miller, and a sister who died in infancy.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at First Free Will Baptist Church, Dunkirk.  Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Johnson & Byrd Cemetery, Scott County, TN.

Visiting hours will be held from 11-1 p.m. at the church on Thursday.
