INDOT HIGHWAY 28 PROJECT INFORMATION AND UPDATE
Beginning March 7, 2024, roadwork on State Road 28 (State St.) will affect traffic traveling both directions. The project is expected to progress in four stages with each section closing as work begins followed by reopening as work is completed.
Stage 1 began on March 7, 2024 and has closed travel from Dowden Avenue to Washington St.
At this time, the road is open to the funeral home.
Patience and understanding will be appreciated as all local businesses affected by the roadwork will strive to serve our community through each stage of the project. Your continued patronage is not only valued & esteemed but necessary for the economic survival of small business in our town.
