Trevia I. DeVoe, 85, Albany, died Monday February 26, 2024 at Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Dean, Tennessee on February 11, 1939, she moved to Indiana at a young age and attended Albany High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and playing BINGO. In earlier years she belonged to Order of The Eastern Star and Elks Lodge Auxiliary.
Survivors include son: Phillip DeVoe (wife: Renee), Albany; daughters: Norma Clevenger (husband: Steve), Albany, and Ruby Morris, Muncie; daughter-in-law: Luann Mayer, Wakarusa; brothers: Charles Botts (wife: Mary), Redkey, and Marion Botts, Oneida, TN; sister: Janice Welch (husband: John), Oneida, TN; 7 grandchildren: Andrea Navarro (Lorenzo), Jordan Morris (Kelsie), Megan Rhetts (Joe), Katie Pryor (Anthony), Jay Morris, Maggie Guffey (Jake), and Eric DeVoe (Tiffani); 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and several nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James P. DeVoe, who died in 2001; son: Norman DeVoe, and parents: Lemuel & Ruby (Lowe) Botts.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Her nephew, Pastor Rick DeVoe, will officiate.
Visitation is Sunday from 4 until 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
